2007年初リリースのCORONAクラシックアイテム。

なんども修正・アップデート繰り返しながら、気が付けばもうじき20年近くになるロングランのシグニチャーアウターピースです。
First released in 2007, this is a classic CORONA piece. Over the years, it has undergone multiple refinements and updates, and before we knew it, it has become a long-running signature outerwear piece approaching its 20th anniversary.

THE CORONA UTILITYでは、コアなビンテージ物からなんでもない古着まで、“昔の物”にインスパイアされて作られているプロダクトが多く、この“アップダスターコート”ももれなくそんな過去のリアルクローズから着想を得て生まれたアイテムです。

 

“古着”は着ていた人の体の癖が経年変化に現れた究極の一点物です。

歪でアンバランスなものも多く、必ずしも着やすい形ばかりではありません。ですが、そのユニークで味わい深い着心地や雰囲気こそが私たちの着想の源となっています。

多くのCORONA CLASSICSのアイテムは、古着の偶然から生まれる着用感や独自性を活かし、日常に自然と溶け込む“さりげない個性”を表現しています。

 

このアップダスターコートは、ディテールはハンドポケット２つだけのシンプルなデザインですが、袖のシルエットやゆるいフィット感、襟の形等々、自分たちが愛してきたユーティリティウエアの特徴を随所に感じて頂くことができるように仕上げています。

At THE CORONA UTILITY, many of our products are inspired by “old things”—from rare vintage pieces to ordinary secondhand clothes. The Up Duster Coat is no exception, drawing its inspiration from authentic past garments.

“Vintage” items are unique pieces shaped over time by the wearer’s body and habits. Many are slightly warped or unbalanced, and don’t always have the most comfortable fit. Yet, it is precisely their unique, rich feel and character that serve as our source of inspiration.

The Up Duster Coat features a simple design with just two hand pockets, but the sleeve silhouette, relaxed fit, collar shape, and other details reflect the characteristics of utility wear we’ve long admired, allowing you to feel the spirit of those garments in every element of the coat.
