大好きなフランス空挺部隊のネットスカーフ。

日本では「アメーバー迷彩」と呼ばれることが多いですが、いわゆる「リザード迷彩」の一種です。コレクターの間では「レオパードパターン」と呼ばれることもあるようです。

ジャケットなどに使われているリザード迷彩とは少し印象が違いますが、ミリタリーでは装備やアイテムによって柄の出方が異なるのはよくあること。個人的には、このネットスカーフに見られる少し簡略化されたパターンがとても気に入っています。

ちなみに、2026年秋冬でも登場するタイガーストライプは、このリザードカモフラージュを起点に発展したと言われる迷彩で、その後の米軍迷彩にも大きな影響を与えたパターンです。

A net scarf used by the French paratroopers—one of my favorite pieces.

In Japan, this pattern is often referred to as “Amoeba Camouflage,” but it is essentially a variation of what is known as Lizard Camouflage. Among collectors, it is sometimes also called the “Leopard Pattern.”

While it looks slightly different from the Lizard camouflage used on jackets and other garments, it’s quite common in military gear for the appearance of a pattern to vary depending on the item or equipment. Personally, I’m particularly fond of the slightly simplified version of the pattern seen on this net scarf.

Incidentally, Tiger Stripe—which will also appear in our Fall/Winter 2026 collection—is said to have evolved from this Lizard camouflage. It later went on to influence several U.S. military camouflage patterns as well.
