Back in my New York days

自分のNY時代。
きれいめなラペルドジャケットの上から、無骨なオーバーサイズのジャングルジャケットをコート代わりに羽織っていた人がいて、その姿がすごく印象的で、今でもよく覚えています。
いろんな人たちが溢れかえり、歴史と最先端が絡み合う“大都会”ニューヨークだからこそ、ああいう着こなしが本当に“映える”んだなと、そのとき強く思いました。

写真は、トロピカルクロスの“CORONA・JUNGLE JACKET”と“SHERRY・TRAVELERS SPORTS COAT”。
S/S 2026では、そのときの記憶を自分なりに再現してみました。

Back in my New York days,
I remember seeing someone wearing a rugged, oversized jungle jacket over a sharp, tailored lapel jacket—as if it were a coat. It left a strong impression on me because it looked effortlessly cool.
At the time, I thought that kind of style really shines in a big city like New York, where people from all walks of life mix together and where history and cutting-edge culture collide.
