This item is a classic outerwear piece that pays homage to the iconic US MILITARY M-65 field jacket, which has been a staple since the early days of CORONA.

It features a stand collar with a zipper-embedded hood, large chest pockets, thick sleeves with two tucks, and the use of Velcro in various places. It offers a comfortably loose fit, and the liner can be detached. Apart from some minor modifications in size and detail for the purpose of preserving the high quality of the M-65, it is made true to the original.

The fabric is a reproduction of the material used in the 2nd model M-65 Field Jacket from the 1960s. It is particular about the use of 50% nylon and 50% cotton yarns, and we have produced our original nylon-cotton blend yarns from the raw material stage. While it has the look and feel of cotton, the 50% nylon makes it lighter than it appears, and the spun nylon’s fluffiness enhances its vintage aesthetic.

The fabric is made from a reproduction textile (reproduction fabric) of the back satin used in U.S. military field jackets from the 1950s. It is characterized by a moderately thick texture and a rough, washed look. This fabric is a sulfide-dyed fabric, and is wikiquette before being dyed in order to make it easier for the dye to penetrate. This process gives the fabric a dimly colored finish characteristic of sulfide dyeing and also increases its colorfastness. (Fastness is the degree of a fabric's resistance to color change and color fading.)
