BEACH PILE for F/W 2026

今季F/W2026では、弊社の定番冬用生地『ビーチパイル』を使ったアイテムのリリースがあります。

ウールとコットンの２重織ニット素材。

モダンな生地だけどワークウエアの防寒生地として生まれた、唯一無二な存在。

2026の生地として、ちょっと特殊な手法で少し薄手に作り、厚みと重量を軽くしました。

For F/W 2026, we’ll be releasing several pieces made from one of our signature cold-weather fabrics, “Beach Pile.”

It’s a double-knit fabric combining wool and cotton. Although it has a modern look and feel, it was originally developed as a cold-weather fabric for workwear, giving it a truly distinctive character.

For 2026, we used a slightly unusual production method to make the fabric a little lighter, reducing both its thickness and overall weight while retaining its unique texture and character.

『今はもう存在しないアメリカ・BROWN’S社の冬用ワークウェアテキスタイル「ビーチクロス」をリファレンスに、CORONAクラシックスの定番素材としてオリジナルで再構築したテキスタイルです。
梳毛糸と綿糸を用い、9ゲージの経編ラッセル機で高密度に編み立てた二重構造のニットクロス。表面はコットンウールによるニットらしい表情を持ち、裏面はウールを起毛させたパイル状の組織とすることで、高い保温性を備えています。
目の詰まったしっかりとした編地でありながら、適度な伸縮性があり、着用時にはニット特有の立体的なフォルムが生まれます。
This original textile is recreated as a CORONA Classics signature fabric, drawing inspiration from the winter workwear “Beach Cloth” once produced by the now-defunct American company BROWN’S.
It is a double-layered knit fabric, densely constructed on a 9-gauge warp-knit Raschel machine using a combination of worsted wool and cotton yarns. The face features a cotton-wool knit with a distinctively soft, textured appearance, while the reverse side is brushed wool formed into a pile structure, providing excellent insulation. Despite its tightly knitted, substantial feel, the fabric retains moderate stretch, creating a three-dimensional silhouette characteristic of knit materials when worn.』
