CORONA・EX-50 FIELD PARKA

1950年代の実験的なテストサンプルをベースに制作したパーカコート。
米軍フィールドジャケットとフィッシュテールパーカを組み合わせたようなユニークなデザインで、ゆったりとしたサイズ感と実用的なディテールが魅力です。
F/W 2025では、CORONA・43フィールドジャケットと同じ流れを汲むアイテムとして提案しています。

名前にある “EX” は “Experimental（実験的）” の略。つまり、実際に軍で試作されたプロトタイプをイメージしています。量産こそされなかったものの、「こんなのがあったら面白い」という発想をそのまま形にしたような、非常に興味深いアイテムです。
こうした “Experimental uniforms（エクスペリメンタルユニフォーム）” は、私たちのミリタリーコレクションにも大きな影響を与えてきました。

This parka coat is based on an experimental test sample from the 1950s.
Its design feels like a cross between a U.S. military field jacket and a fishtail parka, featuring a relaxed fit and practical, easy-to-wear details. For F/W 2025, we’re introducing this piece as part of the same lineage as the CORONA 43 Field Jacket.

 

The “EX” in its name stands for Experimental—a nod to the prototypes once created for the military. These were never mass-produced, but they captured the spirit of “what if” design, turning imaginative ideas into tangible garments.

Such Experimental uniforms have had a major influence on our own military collection. They remain endlessly fascinating—and we’d love the chance to see every single one that still exists.
