CORONA & FS - S/S 2027 COLLECTION

THE CORONA UTILITYの定番 "N-3 JUMPER"、2027 Spring & Summer展示会サンプルが今朝あがってきました！！

今回は、"DUCK HUNTER CAMOUFLAGE（ダックハンターカモ）"。

正式名称は "Reversible Spot Pattern"。第二次世界大戦中に米軍で採用されたリバーシブル迷彩です。

戦後、この迷彩の放出品がハンティングウェアとして広く使われるようになり、そこから "Duck Hunter Camo" の愛称で呼ばれるようになりました。

随分前に手放してしまいましたが、以前、弊社ではUS ARMYの M-42 H.B.T. Jacket を所有していました。大きな胸ポケットには犬笛が紐で結ばれたまま残っていて、実際にハンティングで使われていたことを物語る、とても印象的な一着でした。

This version comes in "Duck Hunter Camouflage."

Its official name is "Reversible Spot Pattern," a reversible camouflage pattern originally developed for the U.S. military during World War II.

After the war, surplus garments in this pattern became popular among hunters, which is how it came to be known as "Duck Hunter Camo."

We used to own an original U.S. Army M-42 H.B.T. Jacket, though we let it go years ago. Tucked inside one of its large chest pockets was a dog whistle still attached with a cord—a memorable detail that suggested it had seen a second life in the field as hunting gear.
