The FATIGUE SLACKS standard item based on the WW2/US ARMY M-41 "TROUSERS, COTTON, KHAKI".
These "M-41 Khaki Trousers" were issued in the summer and tropical areas during World War II.
This model is the origin of the pants now called "chinos" and is a standard style recognized by many people. Simple 5-pocket detailing, including a coin pocket, and sturdy rolled two-stitch seams, the shape is neither too thick nor too thin, and the silhouette is exquisite. The front fly has been updated from the original button closure to a zipper fly. "DESERT SLACKS 2" are more like the vintage original fit, with a more relaxedfit than #FP010.
