“MACYS” FISHING JACKET from THE CORONA CLASSICS 2026 FALL/WINTER

2008年に開催した展示会で初めてリリースした“MACY”のカタログ写真です。

このときは、タスマニアウールフランネルのネイビーで仕上げました。
“ダークナイトネイビー”と名付けたその色は、ほとんど黒に近い深いネイビーでした。

元になったオリジナルピースは、元来フィッシングの為の道具として作られた実用的なジャケットでしたが、それを上質な素材と色で再構築し、日常着としてアップデートしたのがこのモデルです。

 

2026年秋冬では、同じコンセプトのもと、再びこのアイテムに取り組む予定です。

This photo is from the catalog of our 2008 exhibition, when the “MACY” was first released.

At the time, we produced it in a navy Tasmanian wool flannel—a deep shade we called “Dark Night Navy,” which was nearly black. The original piece was a purely functional fishing jacket, designed as a tool for the outdoors.

We reinterpreted it using refined fabrics and a carefully chosen color to bring it into the realm of everyday wear.

 

For Fall/Winter 2026, we’re revisiting this piece with the same concept in mind.
