“M-43 ”is the starting point for the U.S. military's field jackets, such as "M-51" jacket with a collar and front zipper and "M-65" jacket with a hood, stand collar, and Velcro. This jacket is the only jacket with a refined jacket style design and a button system without a zipper. This item is a re-creation of the M-43 field jacket as daily wear, with the same features as the M-43 field jacket. The epaulettes are omitted and the jacket is made as an unlined lightweight jacket.

High Density Chambray Gabardine
This waterproofed, high-density gabardine fabric is woven with 70-count twin yarn in a yarn-dyed weave. The fabric has a high level of water repellency. Rather than being treated at the yarn stage, it undergoes a water-repellent finish after production. Its initial water repellency is rated at grade 4, and it maintains grade 3 even after dry cleaning.
