"JUNGLE JACKET" is the flagship item of CORONA's military jacket collection, paying homage to the Jungle Fatigue Jacket of the 1960s. The US Military Jungle Fatigue Jacket was a B.D.U. (Battle Dress Uniform) jacket used in the Vietnam War and was a utility garment that also served as workwear. Based on the classic jungle jacket, we modified it for the 24SS collection and added zipper pockets on the body and sleeves.

The textile used is a faithful reproduction of the US ARMY's 1950s field overpaints fabric. To emphasize the texture of the fabric and the atmosphere of the color, silken processing, which is generally done as a pre-treatment for dyeing, is omitted. By doing so, the fabric surface is kept flat, and the fabric has an atmosphere of color fading, etc. Bright nylon yarns from the 1950s, which are rarely used anymore, are used. This nylon yarn is woven into the fabric to give it strength and the same dull luster as the original. Although the fabric is thin, it is firm and resilient, and washing gives it a three-dimensional feel in the details, and the puckering at the seams is also atmospheric.
