This item was inspired by the US ARMY M-51 Field Trousers of the 1950s.
They are characterized by the heavy atmosphere typical of military cargo pants. The unique silhouette tapers gradually from the thick thighs to the hems, and is easy to wear, something that vintage M-51 trousers do not have.
The overall balance of the placement of details has been adjusted in-house, and the presence of field trousers has been preserved. We have designed these trousers to be worn casually as daily wear, while retaining the presence of field trousers. We have also adopted a special edition design that exposes all the dot button caps used on the pockets on the front flap. The casually visible button caps provide a moderate design accent.
This fabric is a reproduction of the back satin used in US military M-51 field jackets from the 1950s. It is characterized by its moderate luster, tight texture, and firmness.
