This jacket is the US Navy’s legendary flight jacket, the Willis & Geiger × CORONA Exclusive G-8. The G-8 is often referred to as a “phantom jacket,” as it was in service for only seven years before being succeeded by the G-1. Its defining features include a compact collar and distinctive diamond-shaped patches on the elbows. With its slightly fitted, modern silhouette, the G-8 offers a fresh take on a true classic.

340 Bush Poplin
This fabric gets its name from its high-density weave of 340 cotton yarns per inch. Designed for comfort in the African bush (forested and irrigated areas), it is also highly durable and provides excellent protection. It is woven on a traditional loom using ultra-long staple Egyptian cotton and California cotton, with four-ply twisted yarns spun in both directions for added strength. Additionally, this high-performance 100% cotton fabric is made with mercerized yarns and finished with a unique technique that gives it a subtly brushed texture.
